Prayer and Community Connection
Foundations of Love began participating in Love Fort Wayne Prayer Gatherings, recognizing the importance of prayer, community connection, and understanding the needs of our city as we prepare to serve children and families.
Foundations of Love Incorporated
Foundations of Love Child & Family Ministries, Inc. was incorporated.
Articles of Incorporation Effective
The ministry's Articles of Incorporation became effective.
Federal Tax-Exempt Status Recognized
Foundations of Love received federal recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, effective April 22, 2026.
Founding Bylaws Developed and Completed
The Founding Bylaws were developed as a document of faith, vision, stewardship, and continued guidance for the ministry.
First Grant Awarded
Foundations of Love received its first grant from Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. through the Engage Grant, supporting the Haven of Rest Overnight Childcare Readiness Project.
Haven of Rest Development
The Haven of Rest program model and family-centered overnight care approach continued to be developed.
Family Interest List Established
A family interest list was established to help Haven of Rest plan around real family schedules and childcare needs.
Website Development Support
Sweet Dreams Solutions began providing website development services at no charge to help Foundations of Love establish its online presence and share the ministry's vision with the community.
Building Search and Community Partnership Development
The search for a home for Haven of Rest and outreach to potential community partners continued.
